Clean up and make first arrangements for Greece.
I read an article which was attacking psychology by saying that it is not evidence based, falsifiable etc. It classifies psychology along astrology. I find this point of view at least unfair and I think it ignores the developments of at least the last century. There are several famous psychological experiments. As for the theories, they are thoroughly tested in marketing/governance/etc…
I don’t link to the article because it tries to discredit a whole field without backing up properly its claims.
If you were successful, you may be encouraged to try harder.
If you were unsuccessful, you may want to prove your value.
If you were successful, you may be afraid of trying something new because you might fail.
If you were unsuccessful, you may not want to try again in order to avoid another failure.
It is all about mentality.
(Usually the length of a failure is perceived as larger than that of a success. See: loss aversion)
